Bobby J Blythe Encourages Black Belt Willie J Dennis to Beat A Man to Death – Literally

I don’t think I’ve ever seen such a disturbing video as the one that appeared on YouTube today. Reddit picked it up from 4Chan via this posting. It was then cross-posted on Digg.
I watched the video without any audio due to my surroundings and judging by the comments on Reddit it was the ‘best’ way of watching it. The video shows a black man duped into being beaten by a karate black belt student. It was apparently shot in December 1984 and it beings slowly with the victim showboating until the kicks and punches start to take effect. In particular, it looks like it’s a right elbow that first knocks him to the ground. At this point the victim tries to stop the fight repeatedly but all to no avail.
The dojo master then pushes the student to finish the fight and it ends badly with the guy on the floor and receiving too stomps to the head and neck. There is some stomach-sickening wheezing heard and a pool of blood quickly forms under the guys head who lies their motionless. He’s then dragged across the dojo floor and allegedly dumped in a dumpster in the back alley.
If ever something good is to come out of this it will be through the media picking up this story and forcing somebody to investigate. Did he really die? Who were in this video? It seems Bobby Joe Blythe and Willie J Dennis play the roles of master and student but where is the justice?
If it wasn’t for the student being black, they would say it was a lynching. Mindless brutality, caught on video, bragged about and traded like a Baseball card and everybody gets away with it. Somebody please tell me there is some goodness in the world. Where are the BBC and CNN when you need them?
UPDATE1: Somebody on Reddit reports that the matter has now been referred to Washington DC’s Cold Cases department for investigation. I wonder if an address for the crime scene can be found online, or the neighbouring NAPA store as it implies the employees closed early to watch the show. They would all now seem to be complicit in the murder of this young man – who wants to squeal first?

Yeah I watched th evideo and it pissed me off.
I would like to see them locked up. The homeless guy is obviously just trying to get attention and Bobby J Blythe is a complete moron. Willie J Dennis is a follower loser as well. If this is true, this is 100% prosecution!
I wrote a press release yesterday to try to get this out, as well as this blog posting because every time somebody searches for these two guys names I want people to know what happened here. It appears from Reddit comments that the police are now investigating the crime and CNN were supposed to be running a story in the next few days.
Raul Ortiz a NYC Kung Fu instructor posted this on youtube on the 16th of Aug. Reaction was heated from all who saw this and we urged him to get it into the hands of police associates that he had. whether it was him or others that got this tragic video the attention it deserves, doesnt matter…getting these alleged criminals on trial is the main concern now…National attention is needed…thanks for publishing these names to the search engines…
Just to clarify, Raul Ortiz is in no way connected to anyone involved…he just got wind of the video and posted…again, he is not involved with these actions/crimes…
Agreed. I also don’t want anybody to start harassing anybody. My own blog postings are an attempt to extract information and touch some of the people that were around Dumfries, VA in 1984. All local ‘bums’ are known to somebody. The sooner we identify the victim, the sooner we can conclude this horrific event. Thanks for the comment Cincodog.
This terrible crime was, to my knowledge at least, first brought to the attention of large numbers of people on 13th August 2009 when a poster called tkdtravel posted a link to Blythe’s original video on the Bullshido website, link here http://www.bullshido.net/forums/showthread.php?t=88535
Since that first post, the Bullshido thread turned into a huge investigation inspiring many other websites to cover the story.

Also you may wish to know that the “Justice for KFG” blog is well meaning but contains speculative information relating to the identity of the bystanders, presented as if it were fact.
I am extremely concerned that this could result in innocent people getting hurt by vigilantes.

I don’t think anybody wants that at all. I understand that the information presented on the site is based on Bullshido’s investigation or other sources around the Internet. I’ve certainly read all of those names as I’ve watched this story unfold.
