I’m a computer consultant based in Vancouver, BC, Canada hurtling at full speed towards my mid-life crisis with my wife, two kids and dog in tow. I emigrated from the UK a few years ago, got married and became a stepfather all within a few weeks of one another. Around the same time I also lost touch with my own family (by choice) and re-connected with my father (who I’d not seen for 27 years).

I’ve been meddling with computers since Sir Clive Sinclair’s daliances with the microprocessor and been a senior consultant for over 10 years working on both sides of the pond (Atlantic).

My blog is my online rant at all things in my life and my own opinion on various subjects. Sometimes it’s esoteric, sometimes it’s geeky or professional stuff.
